Within the circular economy, the design and manufacture of products is encouraged in such a way that the environmental impact at each step of the value chain is minimal and the components used can be reused.

The goal of the cluster is to become a significant national competence center for materials recovery techniques and their reuse in chemical and energy processes. The main drivers of the pillar development will be scientific and industrial consortia creating new value chains within research and development and investment projects.
