On May 2nd-3rd 2017, the Secretariat of the Nordic Council of Ministers, in cooperation with the “Cleaner Growth” pilot project, organized a workshops apply to proposals for the Baltic Sea Region. The proposals concerned the extension of international co-operation of associations implementing the “Clean Tech” technology. The workshop was attended by a representative of Green Chemistry Cluster.
The main aim of the workshop was to select pilot projects that will develop international cooperation between the Baltic Sea States. These projects focused on innovative solutions such as energy efficiency, recycling and environmental protection and the development of the bio-economy.
An important element was the discussion of projects to increase their effectiveness and application potential.
New contacts with associations from Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Germany have been established at the workshops.
