W czwartek 6 maja 2021 roku w Poulainville pod Amiens we Francji odbyła się uroczystość inauguracyjna fabryki Ynfarm: trzeciej jednostki operacyjnej firmy Ÿnsect, największej wertykalnej farmy na świecie. Ÿnsect przekształca mączniki (Tenebrio Molitor) w wysokiej jakości produkty białkowe o wysokiej wartości odżywczej dla zwierząt domowych, ryb, roślin i ludzi. W uroczystości wzięli udział wysoko postawieni urzędnicy państwowi Francji: Barbara Pompili, Minister Transformacji Ekologicznej; Julien Denormandie, Minister Rolnictwa i Żywności, oraz Cédric O, Sekretarz Stanu odpowiedzialny za transformację cyfrową i komunikację elektroniczną, oraz inni przedstawiciele otoczenia politycznego, biznesowego i naukowego. Oprócz tego, na uroczystości obecny był prezes Ÿnsect, Antoine Hubert, jego najbliżsi współpracownicy, oraz konsorcjanci projektu FARMŸNG, w tym przedstawiciele Klastra Zielona Chemia. Początek produkcji w Ynfarm wyznaczony jest na grudzień 2021. Już wkrótce na kanałach medialnych Klastra Zielona Chemia ukaże się materiał filmowy przygotowany przez Klaster Zielona Chemia z wydarzenia, w tym kilka krótkich wywiadów z przedstawicielami Ÿnsect oraz z Ministrem Julien Denormandie. On Thursday, May 6, 2021, in Poulainville near Amiens, France, the inaugural ceremony of the Ynfarm factory took place: the third operating unit of Ÿnsect, the largest vertical farm in the world. Ÿnsect transforms mealworms (Tenebrio Molitor) into high-quality protein products with high nutritional value for pets, fish, plants and humans. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking French state officials: Barbara Pompili, Minister of Environmental Transformation; Julien Denormandie, Minister of Agriculture and Food, and Cédric O, Secretary of State responsible for digital transformation and electronic communications, and other representatives of the political, business and scientific community. In addition, the ceremony was attended by the president of Ÿnsect, Antoine Hubert, his closest associates, and consortium members of the FARMŸNG project, including representatives of the Green Chemistry Cluster. Production at Ynfarm is scheduled to start in December 2021.
